Toronto, we have lift-off!

The weekend of April 22–24th 2016, developers, makers, engineers and entrepreneurs took on NASA-designed challenges, creating solutions that range from silly to serious, fantastical to feasible.

In this weekend-long hackathon, participants created solutions with software and hardware to some of NASA's toughest challenges. Sign up for the newsletter if you'd like to be notified of next year's event.

Congratulations to this year's winners!

SpaceApps Toronto 2016 People's Choice Award

About

Running annually since 2012, the International Space Apps Challenge brings coders, designers, entrepreneurs and makers together from across the globe to take on a series of challenges developed by NASA. Last year, more than 13934 hackers participated in 180 cities and created 949 solutions! During the intense 78-hour hackathon, teams will form and produce solutions that leverage NASA's extensive spacecraft, celestial and science data. Together, we'll make space and Earth more accessible, visual and fun to explore.
